Pool Equipment Repairs & Upgrades

Help with common circulation, filtration, heating and control problems for South Bay pools and spas.

Pool equipment works as one connected system. Poor flow can look like a filter problem, a dirty filter can reduce heater performance, and a valve or air leak can keep the pump from operating correctly. We begin by identifying the likely cause before recommending work.

Common equipment problems we evaluate

Pumps and circulation

Loss of prime, weak flow, unusual noise, leaks and pump performance concerns.

Filters

High pressure, poor flow, damaged components and filtration problems.

Heaters

Basic pool-heater troubleshooting and coordination when specialized gas or electrical work is required.

Valves and plumbing

Leaking valves, failed actuators, visible plumbing leaks and circulation routing issues.

Timers and controls

Time clocks, schedules, automation controls and operating problems.

Salt systems

Salt-cell condition, flow warnings, output problems and related water chemistry.

Repairs are authorized separately

Equipment repairs and replacement parts are not included in routine weekly service. We explain the recommended work and obtain authorization before proceeding, except for small maintenance items when an existing agreement permits replacement without advance approval.

Equipment upgrades

An upgrade should solve a real problem. Depending on the pool, that may include a variable-speed pump, improved controls, a replacement filter, a salt system or more dependable valves. We consider compatibility with the existing plumbing, electrical service and equipment pad before recommending a change.

Customer-supplied parts

We do not provide technical support or warranty service for parts purchased independently online. Product questions, defects and warranty claims for customer-supplied equipment must be handled through the seller or manufacturer.

Electrical, gas and structural work

Some repairs require a licensed electrician, gas professional or other specialist. When work falls outside our scope, we will tell you rather than presenting it as routine pool service.

Equipment service questions

Can you diagnose why my pump has weak flow?

Yes. Weak flow may involve baskets, water level, valves, air leaks, the filter, plumbing or the pump itself. Diagnosis starts with the full circulation path.

Do you install customer-purchased parts?

Customer-supplied parts are handled case by case, and Magic Blue Pools does not provide manufacturer or seller support for independently purchased equipment.
